1、 Material selection plan

2、 Drive configuration
The mixer is equipped with drive devices with different capabilities, powers, and output speeds based on material properties, starting methods, and mixing methods.
The selection of drive motors includes: ordinary motors, explosion-proof motors, variable frequency motors, high-efficiency energy-saving motors, high protection level motors, and motors under different voltages;
Commonly used reducers: R, K, F series gear reducers, cycloidal pinwheel reducers, universal gear reducers, planetary gear reducers;
Common connection methods: direct connection, belt pulley connection, and hydraulic coupling connection.
3、 Mixing device
The mixer can be equipped with different mixers according to different material properties;
Conventional material mixing includes: mixing different powders with each other, mixing the same batch of materials, adding a small amount of liquid to the powder for mixing, adding liquid to the powder for mixing until the slurry, thickening or diluting the slurry, mixing granular materials with powder, mixing granular materials with granular materials, crushing and mixing agglomerate materials, cooling or heating mixing, etc.
The agitators modified for horizontal mixers can be divided into: inner and outer double screw type, blade screw belt type, inner and outer broken screw belt type, razor type, etc.

4、 Discharge device
The mixing machine is usually equipped with a pneumatic curved flap valve. When the valve is closed, the curved flap of the valve fully fits the curved surface of the cylinder. During the mixing process, there are no excess mixing dead corners, making the mixed material more uniform; The drive of valves can be divided into three types: manual, pneumatic, and electric;
Valves for reference include powder spherical valve, roller valve, plum blossom dislocation valve, powder butterfly valve, rotary feeding valve, etc.

5、 Opening method
The cylinder cover of the mixer can be equipped with different forms of openings to meet different operating conditions.
According to the opening function, manholes, cleaning doors, feeding ports, exhaust ports, dust removal ports, etc. can be set up. The opening forms include flange type standard openings and quick opening doors with covers;
The mixer can be set to a fully open cylinder cover for easy cleaning of the equipment interior.

6、 Auxiliary components
The mixer can be equipped with various components for use, including coil steam jacket, honeycomb pressure jacket, circulating medium jacket, online sampling valve, high-speed flying knife, magnetic separator, temperature detection, weighing system, dust removal and purification components;
The jacket of the mixer adopts different forms of jackets according to different heat source media, which can be heated and cooled, with high temperatures within 250 degrees Celsius;
When a small amount of liquid is added, a liquid spraying spray device is required, which is more conducive to the uniform dispersion and mixing of the liquid in the main material;
The spraying system consists of three basic components: a pressure source, a liquid storage tank, and a nozzle.

The horizontal spiral belt mixer is basically composed of a mixing bin, mixer, and driving device. A double-layer counter rotating spiral belt is installed inside the U-shaped tubular bin to coil the mixer shaft. The outer spiral belt is driven by power, and its winding form is matched with the rotation direction to push the material from both ends of the U-shaped bin to the central zone, while the inner spiral belt pushes the material from the middle to both ends, forming convective mixing. The bottom center of the horizontal cylinder of the mixer is equipped with a discharge port, and the spiral structure of the outer spiral belt, combined with the rotation direction of the main shaft, drives the materials inside the cylinder wall to the central discharge port, ensuring that there are no dead corners when discharging materials inside the cylinder.


1. Determine the volume of materials mixed in each batch, ranging from 0.1 to 20 cubic meters, and select equipment of corresponding specifications.
2. Select equipment to make materials, which can be divided into parts that come into contact with the material and parts that do not come into contact with the material. Other components of the equipment should maintain their original materials.
The material is determined based on factors such as material properties, working conditions, and hygiene level. Generally, carbon steel and 304/316L/321 stainless steel materials are selected and the surface treatment requirements are determined according to the requirements.
3. Determine the driving capacity of the configuration based on the specific gravity, fluidity, and other properties of the material, as well as the startup standards.
Starting standards include: heavy load starting and no-load starting.
4. According to the actual process situation, add auxiliary functional components such as spraying, heating/cooling, etc.
5. Design equipment opening requirements, such as feeding ports, cleaning ports, exhaust holes, etc
6. Select the discharge mode and driving method, including pneumatic, pneumatic, and electric
